Nittany Cyclocross Part I: The Images
With Granogue done and dusted and good times in the books at Whirlybird last weekend cyclocross season may have officially started weeks ago. But the reality is that it doesn't truly feel like cross season until we spend a double header weekend on the road, squeezed into dumpy motel rooms or as was the case for Nittany CX, a KOA campground in Allentown.
So as we arrive back in New York City after two fast, hot and twisty days of racing at Nittany Cross we're tired but thankful to have enjoyed a weekend on the road with our friends from the NYC (and Philly) cross community. It also doesn't hurt that the squad stacked up results this past weekend with Clay Jones doubling up 2nd place finishes both days, cementing his upgrade, and Pat Torpey taking impressive back to back wins.
With hot conditions both days we also captured our fair share of post race pain faces:

A few crashes aside it was a fun and relaxing weekend of racing for the squad as we build into big New England weekends like the Gran Prix of Gloucester. Head over to the To Be Determined Facebook page for a massive 400+ image gallery and stay tuned to the TBD Journal for a full race report featuring images by Daghan Perker later this week.
