Apply for the To Be Developed Cycling Grant Program

Apply for the To Be Developed Cycling Grant Program

As we announced in January, TBD will be sponsoring the To Be Developed Cycling Program, aimed at supporting grassroots and youth cycling. We are pleased to announce that applications are now open.

Read below for more information on the grant and click here to submit an application.

Want to support the grant?

We’re still selling custom To Be Determined bidons, with 100% of the proceeds going to the grant program. These Elite water bottles come in large ($12) and small ($10) sizes, with every single dollar raised going to the grant program.

Drop us a Venmo payment and we’ll coordinate bottle delivery at an upcoming race.

The grant prioritizes programs that maximize participation in off-road cycling disciplines. In particular, to support youth programs — junior, U23, collegiate racers — and communities traditionally underrepresented within cycling. Priority will be given to applications where grants can amplify the impact from existing organizations or to help establish recurring programming, infrastructure, or initiatives.

The TBD Cycling Grant Program strives to support grassroots and youth cycling in the New York City tri-state area via targeted monetary grants offered to teams and events that are on the forefront of growing the sport. The goal is to award between five and ten grants on an annual basis, with initial funding in place for at least three years of awards.

More information about the grant is available on the application. We are accepting applications on a rolling basis, but the deadline to be considered for a grant paid out in 2024 is October 10.

Any questions? Reach out to us at Team@ToBeDetermined.cc or get in touch via e-mail, Instagram, or in person at upcoming races. We’ll be at Whirlybird, Pineapple, and Carpenter!
