TBD's first 2024 newsletter!
Racing has already started for the year in NYC, although we are also in the aftermath of our first Nor’easter in over two years. Is it time for racing, or riding the trainer? Or escaping to warmer climes for a weekend? You do you, we say. In spite of the changing weather, the team has been busy with trips to Belgium and South Africa, some exciting announcements, and a local trail guide, among much other great content. Read on to get an update on some of our most fun and interesting content over the last few months.
Naveen always seems to be doing something interesting, and her trip to South Africa didn’t disappoint! I loved everything about her report, but mostly the wildlife sightings each day. Check it out yourself to see if you’re tough enough to try the Rhino Run, or the supported version.
We’re so excited to announce our ongoing partnership with Castelli for 2024! It’s been an amazing relationship so far and we are really looking forward to our 2024 kit refresh. Stay tuned…
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to see a World Cup cyclocross race in person, Matt’s dispatch from our Belgium trip will take you right to the sidelines. His photos are incredible, and being there in person was even more epic. Just don’t expect to see the sun for more than about 5 minutes in your time there… but it’s worth it.
Given our relative lack of snow in recent years, mountain biking is a popular weekend activity around NYC. Traffic usually isn’t as soul destroying, it’s warmer (so they say) in the woods, and friends aren’t out of town racing bikes. Check out Shane’s guide to the local trail systems and try something new!
Barb is the team manager for TBD-Colorado. She loves cyclocross, gravel and mountain biking and doesn’t mind a road race every now and again. She also enjoys adventures with her Golden Retriever, the Colorado branch mascot.
