Weekend Roll: TBD Community Ride
On Sunday we held our first TBD open group ride of 2024, starting in Central Park and heading over the GWB. After the weather ruined our first attempt at an open group ride, we were jonesing to get over the bridge and see some friendly faces!
James gave a quick pre-ride speech before the group hit the road and made our way over the bridge, where we collected a few teammates along our journey. With an impending heat advisory in the afternoon, it was all business as we hit a steady pace down 9W to market. Overall an excellent, but incredibly hot day!
Our next TBD Group ride will be after the Lucarelli & Castaldi Open on July 27th. After a brief stop at Market to refill bottles, riders have the option to turn back to the city or continue on.
Group rides are friendly endurance paced but are drop rides. Please be sure you bring plenty of water and food, your bike is in good shape, and you are self-sufficient on rides. We will be updating our Instagram for details, timing, and information for future rides!
