The New York City Half Marathon
As a former marathoner and triathlete my running days are solidly behind me thanks to a series of injuries (I’m certainly not built to run anything more than extremely short distances). But New York City makes an incredible backdrop for a foot race, whether it’s as a runner, a wheelchair escort, or just as a spectator. For this past weekend’s New York City Half Marathon both Scott and Corey were racing (more on Scott’s training here) so I wasn’t going to miss the big day - early Sunday morning I jumped on an e-Citibike and wandered around the final miles of the course to grab a few shots while waiting for Scott (who finished at 1:30) and Corey (who finished at 1:36):
