TBD Race Calendar: October 2018
With the calendar shifting over to fall there are two things on our mind: several of our favorite cyclocross races looming on the horizon and a few weekend escapes to go hunting some of our favorite fall color. Looking at the TBD Race Calendar there are a final few road events to get through but its essentially cyclocross season from here on out.
The opening weekend will see most of the TBD cyclocross squad head South to Charm City Cyclocross in Baltimore while on the skinny tire side of things the final Merrick Bicycles Criterium and the Kissena Fall Classic in Prospect Park will officially mark the end of road season in the tri-state area.
The second weekend in October means one thing: Gloucester CX. With schedule conflicts galore we’ll have our smallest squad at Gloucester in recent memory but this remains - in our view - the best race on the East Coast so we’re sorry to miss it.
Weekend three in October will see part of the squad return South to partake in DCCX while there are a number of alternative lower key races to choose from in the tri-state area including ‘local’ race Marty Cross.
The month closes out with a bit of semi-local UCI racing at HPCX. Last year’s event was a mix of dust on day one and mud on day two but we’ll just have to see what the weather holds for this year’s edition.
As always if we are missing any races from the calendar just drop us a note using the contact form on the TBD Race Calendar page. We want to make sure the calendar is as comprehensive as possible.
