Keith gives back a lot to the cyclocross community in New York City (read the inteview! ) and that’s why everyone loves coming out to Rainey Park Cross and support him. It is usually the last race of the season where everyone is tired, but just showing up to have a good time. And it is always a very good time. This year was no different.
The cyclocross race with the best city backdrop.
Lucia Deng of No.22 racing took a spill during the elite race after a couple of emergency bike swaps.
Arley Kemm broke off solo on the first lap of the women’s race and kept it for the rest of the race.
The staircase is one of the main features of the course. The course designer Keith Garrison does a great job of utilizing what is available in this small park in Queens.
King Kog guys like being seen.
With Taryn fighting for the third spot on the podium Fearless Femme got close to podium sweep. However, Brittlee Bowman of Richard Sachs spoiled the party.
Cesar came to party. Here, he is showing us the “Sven” line.
Dan lapped everyone but seven riders and soloed to the finish at the men’s elite race. This race was obviously an opener for him for the Nationals where he won the baby masters three days later.
TBD’s own Clay didn’t even flinch to give his shoe to Brian when his shoe buckle broke and almost let him DNF.
On the right: Keith was an amazing host.
It doesn’t matter how hard the effort is Trevor looks to the camera.
Mark decided to leave his bike behind and hold hands with Travis.
Starting all the way in the back, Travis fought for a solid 13th place finish.
