Favorite Ride
The ideal training ride is a rolling road ride absent of traffic and traffic lights, with a healthy sprinkle of town line sprints and an unexpected stretch of unpaved fire road.
My favorite ride in NYC is the opposite — I love a blast down Flatbush Avenue to get to Jacob Riis and the Rockaways. I’ve never lived so close to the ocean and love to take advantage of the fresh air at the coast.
